Ishaq Dar's Strategic UK Visit to Strengthen Bilateral Ties

Pakistan's Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Ishaq Dar, is set to engage in pivotal talks during his official visit to the United Kingdom from August 17 to 19. During his stay, Dar will meet with his British counterpart, Angela Rayner, as well as other senior officials to discuss key bilateral issues.
Besides the meetings with Rayner and Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for Pakistan, Hamish Falconer, Dar is scheduled to have discussions over breakfast with Commonwealth Secretary-General, Shirley Ayorkor Botchwey. A significant part of his visit includes the inauguration of a Punjab Land Record Authority project at the Pakistan High Commission in London, aimed at assisting the diaspora in resolving land documentation issues remotely.
The visit further underscores the robust relationship between Pakistan and the UK, reinforced by their Enhanced Strategic Dialogue since 2011, which encompasses trade, economic growth, cultural cooperation, security, and education. This visit comes on the heels of recent talks focused on deepening partnership in defense and strategic dialogue.
