Mumbai Dahi Handi: Honoring India's Brave Soldiers

Mumbai's Ghatkopar area hosted a special Dahi Handi program on Janmashtami to honor Indian soldiers involved in Operation Sindoor. Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis announced that the event, organized by BJP MLA Ram Kadam, aimed to pay tribute to the bravery of these soldiers.

In his address, Fadnavis remarked that MLA Kadam's event channels the courage displayed by Indian troops during Operation Sindoor. The celebration was marked by spirited participation in Thane, where thousands of Govindas gathered. Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde also attended the festive occasion.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi shared Janmashtami wishes, emphasizing a renewed spirit of faith. President Droupadi Murmu extended greetings, wishing joy to Indians worldwide. Pune's celebrations are adopting traditional Dhol Tasha beats this year, revoking modern DJs to embrace cultural authenticity, as stated by festival head Punit Balan.
