In a striking political development, Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Kishore Tiwari has publicly opposed any alliance with the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS). Tiwari argues that recent electoral victories hinged significantly on the backing of Hindi-speaking voters and Muslim communities.
The statement comes shortly after Shiv Sena's Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Raut announced plans for a joint contest in upcoming municipal elections, in collaboration with the Raj Thackeray-led MNS. Tiwari claims that an alliance could alienate vital voter segments.
Accusing the BJP of conspiracy, Tiwari warns that the proposed alignment could weaken the Shiv Sena (UBT)'s position in key electoral battlegrounds. He advocates for continued alliances with the Congress and other opposition factions.
