At a recent event, Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat underscored the importance of women's participation in the organization's decision-making, emphasizing that 'fifty per cent of society cannot be kept outside.' Bhagwat spoke at the launch of 'Tan Samarpit, Man Samarpit,' highlighting women's roles alongside men in the Sangh and the Rashtra Sevika Samiti.

He noted that while processes vary across regions, they reflect the Sangh's adaptability. Bhagwat stressed balancing national service with family duties, saying, 'Rashtra seva should never come at the cost of family duties.' He emphasized that social change in society starts with individual transformation, requiring discipline and practice.

India Today Group Vice-Chairperson Kalli Purie shared her insights, praising the RSS's simplicity and long-term planning. Introducing India Today's Gross Domestic Behaviour (GDB) initiative, she also stressed the need to battle corruption and boost women's representation in leadership. The event set the stage for crucial discussions on civic conduct and women's roles as the RSS approaches its centenary celebrations.
