The BJP's Manipur branch has launched a vehement attack against the Congress, accusing it of misleading the public with terms like 'vote chor'.
Speaking at a press conference, Manipur unit vice-president N Nimbus argued that the people are well aware of Congress's history of electoral malpractice, which weakens the credibility of its current accusations against the BJP. He highlighted the NDA government's development efforts that, according to him, have significantly enhanced lives, attributing Congress's derogatory claims to its inability to match these achievements.
Echoing this sentiment, K Sarat Kumar, BJP Manipur Pradesh general secretary, noted that the Congress has been thoroughly rejected by the electorate, aligning with Modi's vision of a 'Congress-mukt Bharat'. He predicted a landslide victory for BJP in the forthcoming assembly elections in Bihar and West Bengal.
