In a tumultuous session, the Uttarakhand Assembly swiftly passed eight bills, even as Congress MLAs disrupted proceedings with allegations of election tampering and unresolved law and order concerns. The minority education, religious freedom amendment, and democracy fighters' honor bills highlighted the crowded legislative agenda.

The Assembly's monsoon session concluded in just one and a half days, marked by Congress-led protests that began with a sit-in and continued with vocal demonstrations. Attempts by Speaker Ritu Khanduri Bhushan and Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami to quell the unrest proved futile.

Outside the legislative complex, accusations flew as Congress alleged criminal activities were emboldened under police watch and pointed to leadership failures amid claims of Panchayat election misconduct. Meanwhile, the High Court scrutinized the law enforcement response to the alleged election-related incidents.
