Russia Bars Entry to 21 Western Media Personnel Amid Tensions
Russia has banned 21 individuals, including journalists, experts, and NGO members, accusing them of promoting anti-Russian narratives with the British media. This move adds them to a growing list of Western nationals barred amid Ukraine war tensions. Concurrently, Britain announced sanctions on Russian-explored cryptocurrency networks.

In a notable diplomatic escalation, Russia announced it is barring entry to 21 individuals it accuses of collaborating with what it calls the 'destructive British media.' The list, unveiled Wednesday, comprises journalists, experts, and NGO members deemed to have advanced anti-Russian narratives.
This decision forms part of a broader response by Moscow, which has increasingly restricted Western nationals from entering the country following the invasion of Ukraine. Hundreds have already been added to its 'stop list' as relations continue to sour.
Simultaneously, the United Kingdom has countered with its own set of measures, imposing fresh sanctions on cryptocurrency networks alleged to be exploited by Russia, further fueling the volley of restrictive actions between the two nations.
