BJP's 'Dharma Yuddha': A Battle for Dharmasthala's Reputation

BJP state president B Y Vijayendra has lashed out at the state government over its handling of what he calls a systematic conspiracy against Dharmasthala. Accusing the administration of failing to act against a smear campaign, he announced a state-wide protest named 'dharma yuddha' to defend religious sentiments.

Vijayendra emphasized that social media attacks have deeply offended millions of devotees, yet the government has been inactive against those maligning Dharmasthala. Despite initial support for a Special Investigation Team, he questioned the government's unwillingness to curb the malicious propaganda.

Alleging a larger, organized effort that targets the esteemed institution, Vijayendra called out the government's silence as either a sign of weakness or intentional support for the smear campaign. Asserting BJP's commitment to protecting 'Dharma,' he vowed not to stay silent as faith and tradition face these challenges.
