In a turbulent monsoon session of Parliament, 15 significant bills were passed in the shadow of enduring protests from opposition parties. The session, which began on July 21 and was scheduled for more days, ended a day early after a series of adjournments amid calls for discussion on Special Intensive Revision of electoral rolls in Bihar.

Crucial debates, including one on Operation Sindoor, were overshadowed by disruptions. The discussion on astronaut Subhanshu Shulka's mission and India's ambitious space agenda for 'Viksit Bharat' were notably curtailed. Despite the friction, Lok Sabha introduced 14 bills, passing 12, while the Rajya Sabha approved 15 bills in total.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi's rebuttal during the debate on Operation Sindoor in both houses drew significant attention. Key legislative actions included the passage of a new Income Tax bill and the National Sports Governance Bill. Furthermore, several maritime bills addressed the activity at a legislative level, outlining extensive plans for the sector.

The Promotion and Regulation of Online Gaming Bill, which seeks better oversight of evolving gaming industries, also saw approval. Meanwhile, amendments to the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code and Constitution highlighted the session's focus on economic and governance reforms. Despite rigorous efforts, the session's effectiveness was hampered by disruptions, limiting discussion time significantly.
