As Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi visited India, AIMIM president Asaduddin Owaisi raised significant questions about India's current standing with China. He alleged that the Modi government's China policy has suffered from inconsistencies, leaving India in a disadvantageous position.
Owaisi pointed out the lack of progress towards returning the India-China border to the state it was in April 2020, before the Galwan Valley clashes. He criticized the government for labeling China as a close friend despite unresolved issues.
Additionally, Owaisi questioned China's reluctance to share comprehensive data on rivers affecting hydropower projects and its military ties with Pakistan. He also demanded government explanations on China's trade practices and the persistent trade deficit.
