Ukraine Pursues Security Guarantees Amid Intense Diplomatic Campaign

Ukraine is making headway in diplomatic negotiations to formalize legally binding security guarantees with the U.S. and European nations, aiming for an end to its conflict with Russia, according to First Deputy Foreign Minister Sergiy Kyslytsya.

Kyslytsya emphasized the necessity of a bilateral agreement with the United States, underscoring it as a pivotal element after President Donald Trump's recent affirmation of U.S. involvement in Ukraine's defense.

Despite varying offers of support from about 30 countries, Kyslytsya warns that European allies must take bold actions, suggesting that Ukraine's strategic military operations still depend heavily on U.S. logistical, air, and intelligence backing.
