Chad Mizelle to Step Down from DOJ: A Close Trump Ally Returns Home
Chad Mizelle, Chief of Staff at the Department of Justice and a key Trump ally, will resign to return to Tampa. He remains committed to supporting the Trump administration and addressing violence by left-wing groups.

Chad Mizelle, the Chief of Staff at the Department of Justice and a close associate of White House Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller, is set to resign in the coming weeks. This decision comes as he plans to reunite with his family in Tampa, as reported by Axios on Tuesday.
In a statement to Axios, Mizelle asserted his continuing support for the Trump administration. He emphasized his focus on exposing left-wing groups deemed responsible for instigating violence across the United States.
The Department of Justice has yet to issue a response to Reuters' request for comment regarding Mizelle's resignation and future plans.
