Former President Kovind Urges Youth to Embrace Politics at RSS Rally

Former President Ram Nath Kovind emphasized the need for youth participation in politics at the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh's annual Vijayadashmi rally in Reshimbagh. Addressing as the chief guest, Kovind highlighted the influence of RSS founder Dr. Keshav Baliram Hedgewar and Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar on his life.
Kovind credited Dr. Hedgewar and Dr. Ambedkar for shaping his ideas of national unity and social harmony, noting the absence of casteism and discrimination in the RSS. He underscored the significance of Hedgewar's thoughts in understanding society and the nation.
Expressing regret over the reluctance of 'good people' to enter politics, Kovind urged young Indians to engage actively in the political landscape. He also announced that he is writing a book titled 'Triumph of the Indian Republic'. The rally coincided with the RSS's centenary celebrations, marking 100 years since its founding by Hedgewar on Dussehra in 1925.
