BPF Clinches BTC Leadership Amidst Inclement Weather

Hagrama Mohilary, president of the Bodoland People's Front (BPF), assumed the role of Chief Executive Member (CEM) of the Bodoland Territorial Council (BTC) in a solemn ceremony held in Kokrajhar, Assam, despite challenging weather conditions.
Rihon Daimary, a former minister, was also sworn in as the deputy CEM during the event at the Bodoland Secretariat Field, marking a triumphant day for the BPF.
The party demonstrated its political dominance by winning 28 of the 40 seats in the BTC polls. The ceremony was attended by Governor Laxman Prasad Acharya, Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, and other notable leaders, including Tipra Motha's Pradyot Bikram Manikya Debbarma.
