Bihar Elections: Congress Accuses EC-BJP 'Alliance'

The Election Commission has set the dates for Bihar's Assembly elections, a pivotal political event with phases slated for November 6 and 11, and vote counting on November 14. Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar made the announcement, outlining a two-phase election process.

Reacting to the announcement, Congress, led by their media and publicity head Pawan Khera, accused the Election Commission of being in an 'alliance' with the ruling BJP. Khera raised concerns about the lack of response to questions posed by Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, alleging a politically biased environment.

Khera criticized the timing of the announcement, suggesting it was strategically advantageous for the BJP. Congress reiterated accusations of past electoral malpractices, challenging the BJP on governance issues over the last two decades, including alleged mismanagement of welfare programs.
