Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) president Mayawati has issued a rallying call to party members, urging them to extend their unwavering support to national coordinator Akash Anand, who is spearheading efforts to broaden the party's reach nationwide.
During a rally in Lucknow commemorating the 19th death anniversary of BSP founder Kanshi Ram, Mayawati commended Anand, her nephew, for his unwavering commitment and growing rapport with the party's mission. Under her guidance, Anand is working relentlessly to fortify the party's infrastructure and expand its base.
Mayawati, who once declared Anand as her political successor before expelling him due to alleged indiscipline, has since reinstated him. She urged party members to mirror the loyalty shown during Kanshi Ram's leadership and back Anand fully. Additionally, she recognized the ongoing efforts of key BSP figures, including Anand's father, Anand Kumar, and others.
