Bihar Congress president Rajesh Kumar announced the party's finalized seat allocation for the impending assembly elections. Kumar confirmed that consent for seat allotments has been secured from all alliance partners.

Upon returning from Delhi, Kumar disclosed that the Congress central election committee has greenlit the list of candidates and anticipates making a formal announcement shortly. He noted that the seats were identified following discussions with alliance partners.

The INDIA bloc, led by the RJD and featuring CPI(ML) Liberation, CPI, CPI(M), VIP, JMM, and RLJP, is preparing to incorporate new allies. The 2020 polls saw Congress contest 70 seats, winning 19, but upcoming changes suggest adjustments to accommodate additional allies.
