Leaders Gather in Egypt for Crucial Gaza Peace Summit

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is set to attend a pivotal summit in Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt, on Monday, with the primary focus on ending the ongoing Gaza war. An Egyptian presidential spokesperson confirmed the high-profile assembly.

Alongside Netanyahu, Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas will also join the peace summit. The meeting aims to solidify an agreement to cease hostilities in Gaza and reinforce the commitment of both parties to uphold peace.

Additionally, the Egyptian spokesperson noted that U.S. President Donald Trump and Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi conducted a phone call with Netanyahu while in Israel to discuss the proceedings of the summit.
