K Kavitha has launched a scathing critique against the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS), accusing the party of neglecting crucial issues facing Telangana. Speaking ahead of the launch of her own political outfit, she claimed that BRS has been silent on pivotal matters such as women's reservation and the welfare of Telangana statehood activists.
Kavitha did not hold back criticism of Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy's public address following the release of funds under the Rythu Bharosa scheme. She lambasted Reddy for prioritizing political maneuvering over pressing public concerns like water scarcity and the strike by state-run RTC employees. Additionally, she took issue with Reddy's comments about integrating former Congress leader T Jeevan Reddy into BRS, citing it as misleading.
In what appears to be a direct critique of her father and BRS president K Chandrasekhar Rao, Kavitha highlighted the party's alleged disregard for youth interests and its failure to engage in national dialogues. Emphasizing her new party's goals, she promised it would give a platform to the voiceless and create opportunities for the youth of Telangana.
