In a significant ruling, the Bombay High Court has discharged four individuals previously accused in the 2006 Malegaon serial bomb blasts, drawing a sharp rebuke from the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).

BJP spokesperson Gaurav Bhatia criticized senior Congress leaders Sonia and Rahul Gandhi, alleging that the term 'saffron terror' was fabricated to malign Hinduism.

The BJP is demanding apologies from Congress, maintaining that the party pursued appeasement politics, discrediting the political landscape and deepening the ideological divide.
