His statement came after Khandelwal labeled Lodhi's conduct as "highly inappropriate," demanding an explanation within three days.
The controversy erupted after a video showed Lodhi allegedly threatening a police officer. The Indian Police Service Association condemned the remarks and called for action against the MLA.
