The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) announced a dramatic political shift on Friday, stating that the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) is in 'complete disarray' and has become a 'den of corruption'. This comes after seven AAP Rajya Sabha members decided to join the BJP.
Among the defectors are notable figures such as Raghav Chadha and Sandeep Pathak. BJP spokesperson Pradeep Bhandari and IT department head Amit Malviya took to social media to highlight the perceived collapse of AAP.
During a press conference, Chadha revealed that they had submitted a formal letter of their decision to merge with the BJP to the Rajya Sabha Chairman. This move marks a significant moment in Indian politics, potentially altering the balance of power in the Rajya Sabha.
