On Sunday, TVK leader Aadhav Arjuna stated that the party chief, Vijay, had directed all candidates participating in the April 23 Assembly elections in Tamil Nadu to conduct regular inspections of the strong rooms, ensuring the safety and security of the EVMs.

With elections held across 234 constituencies and a record turnout surpassing 85 percent, the Electronic Voting Machines have been secured in strong rooms. Arjuna emphasized that candidates should visit these strong rooms thrice daily within their areas to bolster security.

He urged election authorities to guarantee a transparent counting process, noting the small size of current counting rooms. Additionally, he called for ensuring sufficient security on May 4, the designated counting day, while affirming TVK's commitment to ethical campaigning and anticipated electoral success.
