Arvind Kejriwal, leader of the Aam Aadmi Party and former Chief Minister of Delhi, has accused the Bharatiya Janata Party of conspiring with the Election Commission to remove 90 lakh voters from the electoral rolls in West Bengal. Speaking at an election rally in the Rasbehari constituency, Kejriwal claimed that the alleged voter deletion was part of a broader strategy targeting citizenship documents.

He urged those affected by the alleged deletions to cast their votes in favor of the Trinamool Congress, framing the election as a vital battle against the BJP's attempts to undermine citizenship rights. Kejriwal also criticized Prime Minister Narendra Modi for deploying 3.5 lakh security personnel during the Assembly polls, arguing it disrespects the people of West Bengal.

Kejriwal further accused the BJP of using central agencies to target political dissent, highlighting his own experiences with corruption charges as an example of what he describes as 'vendetta politics.' He warned that the accomplishments of leaders like Mamata Banerjee would be undone if the BJP took power, underscoring the election's importance as a 'litmus test' for the country's future.
