Arvind Kejriwal, the Aam Aadmi Party leader and former Delhi Chief Minister, has alleged a conspiracy involving the BJP and the Election Commission to illegally remove 90 lakh voters from the electoral rolls in West Bengal. Kejriwal emphasized this during an election rally in the Rasbehari constituency.
Kejriwal accused Prime Minister Narendra Modi of disrespecting the people of West Bengal by deploying 3.5 lakh security personnel for the Assembly elections. He urged those affected by the alleged voter deletion to support Mamata Banerjee's Trinamool Congress, warning of a broader strategy to undermine citizenship documents and rights.
He criticized BJP's handling of governance and claimed that central agencies were misused for political gains, drawing parallels to legendary Indian freedom fights and branding Modi as unpopular.
