Kejriwal Pledges Satyagraha Against Excise Case Ruling

Aam Aadmi Party chief Arvind Kejriwal has declared he will not present himself, either personally or through legal representation, before Justice Swarana Kanta Sharma of the Delhi High Court concerning the excise case, according to a party statement on Monday.

'My hope of getting justice from Justice Swarana Kanta has been broken,' Kejriwal articulated in a letter. Consequently, he disclosed that he will follow Mahatma Gandhi's path of Satyagraha.

The former Delhi chief minister, acting upon his conscience, also maintained that he retains the right to challenge Justice Sharma's decision in the Supreme Court.
