Pune Municipal Commissioner Naval Kishor Ram was felicitated on Tuesday for the civic body's innovative initiatives using information technology (IT) for effective implementation of the Maharashtra Right to Public Services Act, 2015. Ram was honoured by Chief Secretary Rajesh Agrawal at a function organised on the occasion of 'Second Service Rights Day' at Sahyadri state guest house in Mumbai. Chief Commissioner of the Maharashtra State Right to Service Commission Manukumar Srivastava was present on the occasion. The function was jointly organised by the state General Administration Department (GAD) and the Maharashtra State Right to Service Commission. Ram said the Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) has been implementing the 'PMC 360' concept to provide faster information, services and schemes to citizens. ''Services under the initiative are made available through a website, service portal, grievance redressal system, DBT portal, online payments, eSign, QR code authentication, WhatsApp BOT, Aaple Sarkar portal and the PMC Care interface,'' he said.
