Vietnam's President To Lam to Visit India: Strengthening Ties Amid Geopolitical Tensions

Vietnamese President To Lam is embarking on a critical three-day visit to India next week, seeking to bolster bilateral relations in defense, trade, and cutting-edge technologies. With global geopolitical shifts and trade disruptions as the backdrop, this visit underscores the strategic partnership between the two nations.

During the state visit from May 5 to 7, President Lam, leading a high-level delegation, will meet with Prime Minister Narendra Modi to explore avenues for strengthening ties. The discussions are expected to concentrate on enhancing cooperation within trade, defense, and technology sectors, as well as assessing regional and global challenges, particularly in West Asia and the South China Sea.
