Stalin highlighted the welfare board dedicated to protecting workers' interests and introduced a new subsidy scheme for e-scooters, enhancing livelihoods. Meanwhile, AIADMK's Edappadi K Palaniswami recalled Jayalalithaa's benevolent schemes for workers, underscoring hard work as a path to satisfaction.
Other leaders like PMK's Anbumani Ramadoss and Congress's K Selvaperunthagai pledged ongoing support for workers' rights, urging unity against exploitation. AMMK's T T V Dhinakaran called for reclaiming rights on this historic day, celebrating workers as the backbone of growth.
