West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has openly dismissed exit poll results that suggest a BJP victory in the assembly polls, labeling them as manipulations orchestrated by the BJP to undermine her party, the Trinamool Congress (TMC).
Banerjee criticized Union Home Minister Amit Shah, accusing central forces of acting as BJP agents and suggested that exit poll data was circulated from the BJP office and broadcasted by media under influence. She emphasized her confidence in TMC's success, anticipating over 226 seats.
Despite challenging electoral procedures, Banerjee expressed gratitude towards voters and TMC workers and accused the BJP of intimidation during polling. She issued a directive for TMC members to stay alert during vote counting, cautioning them against being misled by exit poll projections.
