In a sharp critique of Bharatiya Janata Party's election strategies, Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav accused the ruling party of using loud DJ music to spread hatred and provoke violence in the upcoming Uttar Pradesh elections. He warned about the potential misuse of sound systems to incite conflict.
Addressing a gathering in Lucknow, Yadav illustrated the pitfalls of BJP's governance, pointing to the rising inflation, widespread corruption, and mismanaged education reforms. The recent implementation of the cell broadcast alert system by the Telecom Ministry has also raised questions on BJP's approach to creating a climate of fear.
Yadav further analogized BJP's campaign tactics to 'Soan Papdi', stating it is built on layers of deceit. He pledged to fulfill promises made for supporting girls' education and criticized the BJP's opaque stance on the Women's Reservation Bill, equating their actions to orchestrated misinformation campaigns.
