In North Tripura, the much-awaited vote count for the Dharmanagar Assembly constituency byelection is scheduled for May 4, under stringent security protocols, announced officials.
All preparations have been finalized, confirmed Returning Officer Debjani Choudhury. The process will begin at 8 am and involve 14 tables equipped with CCTV monitoring.
Following the passing of Assembly Speaker Biswa Bandhu Sen, six candidates are vying, with the BJP, CPI(M), and Congress leading the contest.
