According to early trends in the Union Territory of Puducherry, the NDA alliance led by the All India N.R. Congress (AINRC) is showing a significant lead. The preliminary count of postal ballots on Monday highlights that the AINRC is ahead in ten constituencies.
Despite the initial advantage of AINRC, the Congress is also showcasing a competitive stance, leading in five constituencies. The contest between these political parties remains close and intense.
Vote counting began at 8 am across six designated centers, with the process taking place under tight police security to ensure a smooth and transparent counting procedure.
