The political scene in Tamil Nadu is witnessing a fierce battle, as AIADMK, TVK, and DMK compete for the top spot in the constituencies. According to the Election Commission, AIADMK is leading in 16 constituencies, with significant presence in Veppanahalli, Harur, and Cheyyar.
The fledgling TVK, led by actor-politician Vijay, is exhibiting strength with leads in 15 constituencies, notably in areas like Madhavaram, Thiruvottiyur, and Egmore. Meanwhile, the DMK is leading in eight constituencies including Vellore and Manachanallur.
Congress and PMK remain on the fringes, leading in only two and one constituency, respectively. The tightly contested race sees the Dravidian parties following closely behind TVK, as indicated by television reports.
