Felix Gerald, the national spokesperson for TVK, announced on Monday that the party is confident of securing an absolute majority in forming the next government in Tamil Nadu. Election trends indicate significant support for TVK, which Gerald attributes to the electorate's desire for change from established parties.
In an interview with PTI Videos, Gerald critiqued the opposition, stating that despite their decades of experience, they've only excelled in 'looting the state'. He further mentioned that the party leader, Vijay, intentionally maintains a limited media presence, opting for direct interactions with the public.
Gerald dismissed earlier media criticisms that doubted TVK's capability of winning and highlighted the high voter turnout as proof of growing support. He also took a jab at DMK, implying their ignorance during the election, and reaffirmed TVK's commitment to governing without external alliances.
