Felix Gerald, the national spokesperson for TVK, confidently announced on Monday that the party is on track to form a government in Tamil Nadu, securing an absolute majority. Initial election trends indicate the party's rapid rise, reflecting widespread voter support and dissatisfaction with long-standing political entities.
In an interview with PTI Videos, Gerald emphasized that the public's choice for TVK stems from frustration with established parties that have been in power for decades. Criticizing the DMK's neglect of TVK, Gerald noted their "blind race," claiming a new awareness would dawn on them.
At the TVK headquarters in Panaiyur, supporters celebrated the party's advance in 101 constituencies. Party loyalists such as Thangaraj and Kaspar Raja voiced pride in their grassroots campaign, expressing unwavering faith in TVK forming a government and achieving a "people's government" status, aiming for a "single majority."
