Rupa Ganguly Takes Lead in Sonarpur Dakshin Race
BJP's Rupa Ganguly, former Rajya Sabha MP, is leading over TMC's Arundhuti Moitra in the Sonarpur Dakshin constituency. With five rounds of counting completed, Ganguly holds a 12,633 vote lead. The TMC has held this seat in the South 24 Parganas district since 2011.

According to the latest updates from the Election Commission, BJP candidate Rupa Ganguly is currently leading in the Sonarpur Dakshin constituency.
Ganguly, who is also a former Rajya Sabha MP and well-known actor, is ahead by 12,633 votes after five rounds of counting.
Her opponent, TMC's Arundhuti Moitra, also known as Lovely, is seeking re-election in a seat that her party has consistently won since 2011 in the South 24 Parganas district.
