Biman Banerjee Leads by a Comfortable Margin in Baruipur Paschim
Senior TMC leader Biman Banerjee is ahead by 12,664 votes against BJP contender Biswajit Paul in the Baruipur Paschim assembly constituency elections. With significant votes yet to be counted, Banerjee maintains a secure lead. CPI(M)'s Md Lahek Ali trails in the third position.

Senior Trinamool Congress leader Biman Banerjee is making significant headway in the Baruipur Paschim assembly constituency elections. According to the Election Commission, Banerjee currently leads by 12,664 votes against his nearest competitor, Biswajit Paul of the BJP.
Banerjee, the current Member of the Legislative Assembly, has secured 37,469 votes while BJP's Paul has collected 24,805 votes after six rounds of counting. Despite 12 additional rounds remaining, Banerjee's lead appears solid.
The CPI(M)'s Md Lahek Ali has so far captured only 5,925 votes, placing him in third position. As the electoral race continues, all eyes remain on the remaining rounds of counting to confirm final outcomes.
