Former Jharkhand chief minister Champai Soren delivered a sharp critique at TMC supremo Mamata Banerjee on Monday. Soren claimed that the era of power gained through Bangladeshi infiltrators and appeasement is nearing its end, leveraging the latest data from the Election Commission.
BJP is currently leading in most constituencies in West Bengal, where Mamata Banerjee's TMC has been in power since 2011. Soren, who moved from JMM to BJP, asserts that Bengal will soon follow a path of development.
With the BJP's commanding support stemming from its governance record, Soren foresees a shift led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The Election Commission data shows BJP is leading in 193 seats, while TMC leads in 93, out of 294 assembly seats.
