Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni voiced her objection to a possible U.S. troop withdrawal from Italy, a decision suggested by President Donald Trump.
During a European Political Community summit in Yerevan, Meloni reiterated that the decision does not lie with her, yet she clearly opposes the move.
She plans to further discuss the issue with U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio during his upcoming visit to Rome for talks with Italian officials and a meeting with Pope Leo.
