Assam's BJP president, Dilip Saikia, celebrated the party's third continuous victory in the assembly polls, emphasizing it as a testament to fulfilled promises from the 2021 manifesto. Speaking with PTI, he expressed that the decision was a 'mature mandate', underlining the public's comparison between BJP's 10 years of governance and Congress's 55 years of alleged misrule.
The BJP claimed 30 seats and is leading in 52 others, while its allies, the Bodoland People's Front and Asom Gana Parishad, contributed to this formidable win. This outcome validates BJP's developmental and secure agenda for Assam, according to Saikia.
Saikia criticized the opposition for spreading 'fake narratives', highlighting the rejection of their 'anti-Assam and pro-Bangladeshi' stance. He credited the support from all societal sections, especially women, as pivotal to BJP's sweeping success in Assam.
