Mamata Banerjee, the Trinamool Congress (TMC) leader, on Monday denounced the Bharatiya Janata Party's (BJP) landslide victory in the state polls as 'immoral'. She accused her rivals of manipulating results in more than 100 assembly seats.
Banerjee made these comments while leaving the counting center in her Bhabanipur constituency. TMC further alleged that the Election Commission, backed by central forces and major political figures, engaged in illicit acts during the counting process.
The TMC chief claimed improper conduct at the Sakhawat Memorial Government Girls' High School counting center, citing switched-off CCTV cameras and ejected TMC agents, despite her protests to electoral authorities.
