On Monday, Rahul Gandhi, a prominent Congress leader, accused the BJP of orchestrating election fraud in Assam and West Bengal, alleging complicity with the Election Commission. His remarks echo those of TMC chief Mamata Banerjee, who claims over 100 seats in West Bengal were illicitly claimed by the ruling party.
Gandhi expressed his concerns in a post on X, where he pointed out similar scenarios of election manipulation in Madhya Pradesh, Haryana, and Maharashtra, anticipating further instances in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. According to Gandhi, institutional malpractices are widespread, questioning the integrity of electoral processes in India.
Banerjee, on her part, vehemently denounced the BJP's victory in West Bengal as 'immoral' and 'looted,' vowing a comeback for her party. As tensions simmer, the allegations of election tampering continue to resonate across the political landscape.
