Landslide Victory in Goalpokhar: Md Ghulam Rabbani Triumphs
Veteran TMC candidate Md Ghulam Rabbani achieved a significant victory over his BJP opponent, Sarajit Biswas, in the Goalpokhar assembly constituency, winning by a margin of 83,790 votes. As per the Election Commission data, Rabbani, a cabinet minister in Mamata Banerjee's government, garnered 1,22,105 votes against Biswas's 38,315.

Md Ghulam Rabbani, a seasoned Trinamool Congress (TMC) candidate, emerged victorious in the Goalpokhar assembly constituency elections, overcoming his Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) counterpart Sarajit Biswas by an impressive 83,790-vote lead.
Rabbani, currently a cabinet minister under Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee's administration, successfully reclaimed his seat in this northern Bengal constituency.
The Election Commission reported that Rabbani secured a total of 1,22,105 votes, substantially outperforming Biswas, who managed to gather 38,315 votes.
