In a serious development, a contractor with the Federal Aviation Administration in New Hampshire has been charged with making a threat against former President Donald Trump. Court documents have confirmed the charge against Dean DelleChiaie of Nashua, New Hampshire.
DelleChiaie was taken into custody on Monday and is scheduled for a court hearing on Tuesday in U.S. District Court. The charge involves interstate communication of a threat, which is a federal offense. According to a filing by the Secret Service, DelleChiaie was suspended by the FAA after it was discovered that he had used his work computer for concerning queries related to assassination attempts.
The Secret Service also revealed that on April 21, an email purportedly from DelleChiaie was sent to the White House stating his intention to 'neutralize/kill' Trump. Authorities are taking the threat seriously and DelleChiaie's legal proceedings are underway.
