Farooq Abdullah, the president of the National Conference, emphasized on Wednesday that 'Operation Sindoor' has achieved its objectives, but warned that wars bring only misery, not solutions. He cited the devastation in Ukraine and the Middle East as stark reminders of the consequences of war.
Addressing questions about tensions in the Gulf, Abdullah underscored that the global economic climate is not conducive to war. He highlighted the world's reliance on Middle Eastern oil and gas, stressing that continued tension could exacerbate already severe global economic challenges.
Abdullah also remarked on the recent Indian assembly election results and the role of opposition, asserting that the INDIA bloc remains strong. He played down regional security concerns, urging the public not to panic in the face of blasts in Punjab and tensions in Jammu and Kashmir.
