Punjab's political scene is heating up as Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann points fingers at the BJP for the recent twin blasts. Mann claims this is part of BJP's preparation for the 2027 assembly polls, but the state BJP unit has challenged him to prove his allegations or resign.
Labeling Mann's remarks as 'reckless and irresponsible,' BJP leaders have highlighted that the state DGP attributes the explosions to Pakistan's ISI. These blasts occurred near BSF's Punjab Frontier HQ in Jalandhar and close to the army cantonment in Amritsar's Khasa.
State BJP officials argue Mann's comments expose a fear of losing power, insisting he prioritize law and order over political posturing. Mann's allegations have further fueled political tensions as Punjab prepares for upcoming elections.
