Political tensions between Punjab and Haryana have intensified following recent explosions in Punjab. Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini charged Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann with acting irresponsibly, claiming that Mann has lost his mental balance after alleging BJP involvement in the blasts.
The explosions, which took place in Jalandhar and Amritsar, have stirred controversy, with Mann asserting that BJP's actions are a precursor to the 2027 assembly polls. Saini countered, stating that Mann's accusations lack evidence and reflect a politically motivated narrative.
Haryana minister Anil Vij, supporting Saini's stance, called for Mann's resignation unless he could substantiate his claims. As political leaders trade barbs, the situation highlights rising political tensions in the region as assembly elections approach.
