The Congress party has begun the process of determining Kerala's next chief minister, with AICC observers poised to engage with newly elected MLAs on Thursday. Observers Mukul Wasnik and Ajay Maken arrived in Thiruvananthapuram for discussions.
Both observers are meeting with MLAs individually at the KPCC headquarters to gather opinions on the new chief minister choice. Additionally, they plan to confer with Congress allies before departing for New Delhi.
Top candidates for the chief minister role include senior Congress leaders Ramesh Chennithala, V D Satheesan, and K C Venugopal. The decision holds significant importance for the party's future leadership in Kerala.
