Tamil Nadu's Political Dance: DMK and AIADMK's Unlikely Reconciliation

This speculation follows Congress's alliance with TVK, despite initial support for DMK. The resulting political landscape is marked by shifting allegiances.

Political corridors in Tamil Nadu stirred on Wednesday as speculations emerged about likely negotiations between arch-rivals DMK and AIADMK. The talks are reportedly aimed at obstructing the TVK from establishing its first administration in the state.
The speculation arose shortly after the Congress aligned with the TVK, marking a departure from its former association with the DMK. Neither the DMK nor the AIADMK have commented on these rumors about their alignment.
TVK chief Vijay approached the Governor earlier, seeking to form a government with Congress's support, following the party's impressive gain of 108 seats, overshadowing DMK's 59 and AIADMK's 47. The shifting political landscape has left Tamil Nadu's future governance uncertain.
